The one-click demo importer sets up your site to look like the live preview, so you can replace the placeholder content with your own.
1. Make sure all required plugins from the setup notice are installed and active. 2. Go to the theme's setup / demo import panel (usually under Appearance or a menu item named after the theme). 3. Choose the demo you want and click Import. Import can take a few minutes — don't close the tab. 4. When it finishes, review your Pages, Menus, and Widgets.
Important notes:
- Demo images are placeholders from the preview and are not included for redistribution — they'll import as gray boxes or be skipped. Replace them with your own media. - Run demo import on a fresh install when possible. Importing over an existing site can create duplicate pages and menus. - If the import stalls, see "Demo import failed or missing images" in Troubleshooting — it's almost always a PHP limit that needs raising.
